At Satterfield Cattle Co. we offer custom beef orders. You are able to purchase a whole or half beef and have it cut to your specific needs. We will work with you to create a cut sheet to include your favorite beef cuts. You are able to choose the thickness of steaks, types of steaks ( bone-in or boneless), weight of roasts, and choose packaging to fit your needs.

At Satterfield Cattle Co., we believe in sustainable farming practices that promote the health of our land, animals, and our customers. We use rotational grazing to maintain the health and productivity of the heard.

About Us

Our Story

Satterfield Cattle Co. is a small family farm in Ware Shoals, SC. We specialize in grass fed Black Angus Beef, as well as grass fed lamb and pastured pork. Satterfield Cattle Company is owned and operated by  Ken and Morgan Satterfield along with the help of their children. One could say that Mr. Ken has been farming his entire life, growing up on a dairy farm in Hickory Tavern, SC. Everything he knows he learned from his Dad, Mr. Kenneth, whom he farmed with side by side for 45 years. In the late 1980's, the dairy farm was sold and the Satterfield family transitioned to beef cattle. Since this time, the Satterfield's have focused on raising high quality beef cattle. Having fresh beef in the freezer has always been a staple here at the farm . In 2020, during the Pandemic, many families began contacting us to purchase beef halves and wholes.  Everyone was looking for a healthier, wholesome, farm to table product. It was during this time that the dream of having a meat shop began to grow. In the summer of 2022, we were able to make that dream a reality and Satterfield Cattle Co Meat Shop was born. We are proud to offer USDA and SC Certified grass-fed beef, lamb and pasture raised pork to our customers. No steroids, antibiotics, or hormones. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve.
